
Michael E. Zobrak became a full-time
arbitrator effective January 1, 1982. He heard and decided his first case in the
Spring of 1982. Since that time he has heard and decided over 1,800 cases in
both the private and public sectors. Arbitrator Zobrak has also served as a
fact-finder and as an interest arbitrator.
From 1970 to 1981 Arbitrator Zobrak was employed as a staff representative for the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA). There he acquired extensive experience in negotiations and as an arbitration advocate. For five years prior to his employment with the PSEA he taught speech and English at Monaca, Pennsylvania High School.
He was inducted into the National Academy of Arbitrators on October 28, 1989.
